Naughty Bear Sequel Announced

Naughty Bear was one of the first trailers I posted back when Death’s Door Prods was just me and a YouTube channel. It was a game that I wanted to play just from the description alone. A game where play as an evil teddy bear murdering everyone who has wronged you by not inviting you to someone’s birthday party sounds amazing. Unfortunately the game didn’t turn out that great, but maybe its sequel can fix the problems the first one had.

505 Games and Behaviour Interactive, the creators of the first game, announced that they are working on a sequel. Naughty Bear: Panic in Paradise will let players slip back into the worn fabric of Naughty and kill even more cute and cuddly teddy bears, but this time on a tropical island. Everyone left alive on Perfection Island after the first game have all gone off on a luxury vacation to Paradise Island and once again don’t invite Naughty, apparently not remembering what happened the last time they did that. Naughty gets pissed and goes kill crazy, staining the island white with the fluff of those who betrayed him.

505 and Behaviour say that the new game will have the same tone as the original game but will have a completely overhauled combat system and a brand-new leveling up system, as well.

No release date has been confirmed, but 505 and Behaviour say that the game will be coming out later this year on XBLA and PSN.
