Marvel Releases Official Marvel Movie Timeline

With the intertwined universe of the Marvel movies, it may be a bit confusing for people who haven’t watched all the movies. Thankfully, Marvel realized this and has released the infographic you see above (click to embiggen)

The graphic goes through all the important events that take place in the Marvel movie universe, from Jotunheim invading Earth to the Avengers assembling. What’s a bit weird is the way the timeline splits itself into different time periods. Iron Man has been set up as a Jesus type with two time periods being referred to as Before Iron Man (BIM) and After Iron Man (AIM). After AIM we have Fury’s Big Week, which says that the events of Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk and Thor all take place over the course of one week.  Then we have a couple events that are labelled Before Avengers, and finally Avengers Assemble.
