THQ Delays Darksiders II

Game publisher THQ has officially announced that Darksiders II has been delayed until August 2012.

The Darksiders sequel, which is being developed by Vigil Games was originally scheduled for a June 29th 2012 release date.

However, it was stated by THQ that Darksiders II is being delayed until August in order to improve the quality of the product.

“The date was shifted to ensure we meet the high quality threshold that we are committed to achieving,” said the firm. “It has nothing to do with any other platform releases.”

THQ has said they will announce a firm release date in “days to come.”
