Some new evidence has surfaced about the idea that Dead Space 3 is actually a thing. The games existence was first mentioned by an Israeli news show, claiming to have the first details last fall. Now, South African retailer BT Games has begun taking pre-orders for the game.
The game has never officially been announced, but through job listings that started popping up last year suggest that the project is in development. EA has in the past discussed making the series into a trilogy, EA president Frank Gibeau commented that the company is hoping to reach a broader audience with the sequel.
What makes this listing by BT Games so notable is this is not the first time they actually outed a game (if they are outing Dead Space 3). They also revealed the Jak and Daxter HD collection and the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer component. They have in addition to this provided evidence of a God Of War IV with a pre-order box on shelves.
What do you think? Are you ready for a Dead Space 3?
