It was announced at Geneon’s booth at the Anime Contents Expo on Sunday that the anime based on Saki Hasemi and Kentaro Yabuki’s To Love-Ru Darkness manga will have a run on television. No date has been released, but series veterans Atsushi Ootsuki and Yuichi Oka have been confirmed to direct and design the characters, respectively.
To Love-Ru Darkness picks up where the previous series ends, and has the same basic premise, with an added concentration on the background and personality of Golden Darkness. New antagonists, new allies, and some in between make it something to look forward to. More details to be revealed in Shueisha’s Jump Square magazine on Wednesday.
