As some of you may know, last year Death’s Door Prods participated in a charity event called Extra-Life. We raised money for children’s hospitals and earned the sponsor money by gaming for 24 hours straight. This year we are participating again and we want to raise even more money.
How can you help?
1) Donate: This is a charitable donation, and therefore comes with all the benefits, including but not limited to a receipt for tax purposes and that warm fuzzy feeling you get from doing something good. All the money donated goes to helping Children’s Hospitals, this is a chance to do something good. Visit our Team Page and sponsor one of the players.
2) Participate: This option is especially good for those who have little money of their own. You can go to our Team Page and click Join Team to register. Once you’ve registered you simply share your fundraising page on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, via email, on bulletin boards, or any other way you can think of. People donate and you’ve helped a good cause. On October 20th 2012 at 8am, strap yourself in for 24 hours of straight gaming.
Are we doing anything special? Yes! On the actual gaming day we will be doing a 24 hour LIVE podcast! As an incentive to anyone who joins us the top fundraiser, who is not Death’s Door Prods Staff, can join us on the LiveCast.
October 20th seems a long way off, but if we start now, we can make a major impact.
