A film adaptation of Bioshock was first announced back in 2008 and it has been quiet for quite some time now. In fact the last few things we have heard, such as the production being “halted”, hasn’t been really any good news.
Now it seems to have gotten even worse for the film as Juan Carlos Fresnadillo has decided to jump ship as the films director stating, “To be honest, by now, I’m completely out of that, and developing other stuff,” adding “Right now it’s on hold. The studio and the video game company, they have to reach some kind of agreement about the budget and the rating.”
I think the Bioshock film has about as much chance of being made as the Halo film does, at this point.
