We here at Death’s Door have had our fun taking potshots at all the X vs. Y comics that have been coming out recently, and we feel those shots were taken fairly so. This is a bizarre trend that was a novel idea back in the 90’s but nowadays, not so much. But even with all that, this X vs. Y series actually has me kind of interested. For one thing its X and Y are both species that speak no English whatsoever. In fact, one of them has no dialect at all, so it will be cool to see if writer Grant Morrison keeps it that way. And for another thing it’s written by Grant fucking Morrison. I love that guy. So, here’s twenty pieces of art from Liquid Comics’ upcoming title Dinosaurs vs. Aliens.

“From the minds of acclaimed filmmaker, Barry Sonnenfeld (Director of the Men In Black Films), and superstar graphic novel creator, Grant Morrison (Batman, The Invisibles, Action Comics, 18 Days), comes Dinosaurs Vs. Aliens, by Liquid Comics. The story focuses on a secret world war battle that was never recorded in our history books. When an alien invasion attacks Earth in the age of the dinosaurs, our planet’s only saviors are the savage prehistoric beasts which are much more intelligent than humanity has ever imagined.”
