It has been announced by 2K Games that BioShock: Infinite will be released in North America on October 16th, with a European launch scheduled for October 19th.
BioShock: Infinite takes players out of the under water world of Rapture and onto the floating city in the sky known as Columbia. You play as Booker DeWitt who is trying to rescue a young girl by the name of Elizabeth.
Series creator Ken Levine had the following to say, “After BioShock, we had a vision for a follow up that dwarfed the original in scope and ambition.”
“BioShock: Infinite has been our sole focus for the last four years, and we can’t wait for fans to get their hands on it.”
