Things seem to be on the up and up for Star Wars: The Old Republic when EA today announced that sales for the MMO have reached over 2 million copies sold and is sitting at 1.7 million “active daily users”. CEO John Riccitiello also mentioned that these sales also helped to bolster third quarter financials for fiscal 2012 for the company. Other games such as Battlefield 3 and FIFA 12 did help some as well.
“Star Wars: The Old Republic is developing a committed community of players,” Riccitiello said in a press release today, before EA’s financial earnings call.
