Gravity Falls Finale to Air this February

A couple of months back, Gravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch announced that the show would be ending with Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back the Falls, an hour-long episode. But Hirsch didn’t mention when that episode was airing, and with the release schedule Gravity Falls has had this season it could have happened the following week or the following year. Turns out, it was happening the following year.

Deadline is reporting that the Gravity Falls finale is set to air on February 15th at 7PM on Disney XD. According to Deadline…

In the final episode, Ford discovers Bill’s true motives and then a final confrontation with Bill leads to the Pines family’s ultimate fate and greatest sacrifice.

So now the countdown is officially on. At time of writing, the Gravity Falls series is 42 days away. I feel like a need to set up a doomsday clock in my room now.
