Bethesda Game Studio’s Todd Howard has announced that Fallout 4 will be coming out this November.
The game will start out before the bomb drops, with a married couple getting ready in the bathroom mirror. In the mirror you will make your character with a new character creator that has been used to make all the NPCs in the game. You can play as either a man or a woman (the game will also make a baby based on who you make in the mirror). The new game will also feature crafting, because of course, and a real-life Pip-Boy cellphone case for your wrist that comes with the collector’s edition and has an app for a second screen experience. It will be modelled after the new Pip-Boy in Fallout 4, which will have more features including the ability to play games on it.
As was shown in the E3 showcase, after creating your character, a Vault-Tec employee shows up to set your starting stats, then the bombs go off and you head to Vault 111 in Boston. 200 years later, you come out, find your robo-butler Codsworth, and a dog who you can issue commands to. And of course, VATS is still in the game.
Fallout 4 is set for release on November 10th, 2015, for the PS4, Xbone, and PC.
