Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 Announced

When Five Nights at Freddy’s came out last August, it took the internet by storm (we got swept up into it, too). Then Five Nights 2 came out three months after the first. Then Five Nights 3 dropped four months after that. And now the next installment is coming, but not quite so fast.

Scott Cawthon has announced over on his site that Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 is coming, and that it will be the final chapter of the series. It was announced via the image above, which has a release date on it of October 31st, 2015. This means that Five Nights 4 will be coming 7 months after the previous installment, the longest development time of any game in the series.

One of things people love to do with these games is figure out the story of it, because there most definitely is one. From the looks of the Freddy suit in the picture, this probably takes place after the third game. The suit also has a bunch of tinier Freddy heads all over it, and I have no idea what the fuck that means so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
