Bayonetta: Back on Wii U in all Her Hairy Glory this October

Over-the-top, insane, bespectacled, hair-clothed action returns this October on the Wii U in the form of Bayonetta 2. Developed by Platinum Games and published by Sega, this sequel to 2009’s Bayonetta marks the return of the raven haired witch, but also shakes up the norm by arriving as a Wii U exclusive.

The game will hit retail and digital outlets on October 25th and, as an added incentive, the retail package comes with a new version of the original Bayonetta! This special edition includes a few alternate outfits based on characters from Nintendo’s major franchises. Players will be allowed to dress up in Link, Princess Peach, and Samus Aran themed costumes, which each enable specialized attacks that fit the costume’s theme.

The new game will continue in the established footsteps of the series with crazy, bizarre battles with massive angels and demons and wild hair-based super combos.
