Hideo Kojima, Guillermo del Toro Making Silent Hills Starring Norman Reedus

For those who don’t know, at their Gamescom press conference Sony teased a new game called P.T.. It was a horror game that they released a demo of after the conference ended. People got their hands on it and started streaming it and making videos and what have you. That’s when they discovered that the game was actually a teaser for a brand new Silent Hill game. But not just any Silent Hill game. This is a Silent Hill game that sounds so cool I thought it was fake.

At the end of the demo, a trailer played revealing the game was a playable teaser for Silent Hills, a new game from Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and film director Guillermo del Toro starring actor Norman Reedus. And I still can’t believe that sentence I just typed is real.

When James told me this was happening, I honestly thought it was fake. It sounded too weird and awesome that it couldn’t possibly be real. Hell, it still sounds like that. But yeah, it’s happening, and now I might have to actually pick this game up. I hate horror games, but I need to see how this all plays out.
