Michel Ancel, creator of storied franchises Rayman and Beyond Good & Evil has recently founded a new studio outside of Ubisoft.
The new studio is named Wild Sheep Studio and will be overseen by Ancel while he continues to work on existing projects at Ubisoft. Could this new venture mean Beyond Good & Evil 2, or other new IPs that Ancel wants to see come to life that perhaps don’t fit Ubisoft’s priorities? Time will tell…
Ancel’s most recent release was Rayman Legends which came out on next gen consoles in February and received very high accolades from the industry. Anything from that mind should be interesting at minimum.
