A New Syphon Filter in Development?

In the August 2011 edition of The Official PlayStation Magazine Italy, the long time waited Syphon Filter 4 has appeared. It has been hinted to be releasing in the winter of 2012. Apparently the leaked information came from the official US PlayStation website, where some details and a logo of sorts were posted and then quickly taken down. Since then long time fans of the series have been clamoring for more information about the sequel.

The rumor is that Syphon Filter 4 is going to be a direct sequel of the PSP title Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow and currently in development at SCE London Studio.

“Syphon Filter 4 is slowly gearing up for a release on PS3. Expect a launch for Winter 2012.”
