For years now, an Assassin’s Creed live action film has been in the works. Michael Fassbender was the most recent addition, attached to produce the film and star in it. Now it looks like Fassbender will be teaming up with the director of Macbeth again to kill more dudes.
Deadline is reporting that Justin Kurzel is in talks to direct the live action adaptation of the long running Ubisoft franchise about stabbing dudes in the face and neck. Kurzel does not have a particularly large filmography, with his best known work being Snowtown, an Australian movie based on the Snowtown murders.
The movie is still in early production, with the most recent news (aside from this) saying that New Regency had hired Adam Cooper and Bill Collage to rewrite the film’s script. No word has been given on a release date.
