Sony announced during their Gamescom press conference that the PlayStation 3 will be having its price dropped globally.
This is happening immediately, the new price of the 160gb PS3 will be € 249 in Europe, $249 in North America and ¥ 24,980 in Japan.
If you still have not gotten your hands on a PS3, now is a great time to do so.
