At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con (which ended this past weekend) WB Interactive and DC announced that Stana Katic, co-star of the ABC series Castle, will voice Talia al Ghul in the upcoming game Batman: Arkham City.
For those of you who don’t know Talia is the daughter of the 700 year old Ra’s al Ghul, one of Batman’s oldest villains and leader of the League of Assassins. Talia is also the mother of Damian Wayne, Batman’s son and the current Robin (but not the one in the game. That’s Time Drake).
When asked about the role Katic said, “Talia is such a complex character and it was great to voice her in Batman: Arkham City. I am amazed at all the detail put into the project and it’s great to see how excited the fans are about the game.”
Batman: Arkham City comes out for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC October 18. It will also be coming to the Wii U at some point.
