Prototype 2 Dated for the U.S.

Activition has confirmed that Prototype 2 will be released on April 24^th 2012.

Radical Entertainment is working on development of Prototype 2. Players will be taking charge of a new comer Sgt. James Heller as he sets out to put an end to the Blacklight Virus and kill the first Prototype protagonist Alex Mercer following the death of his family from the Blacklight outbreak.

Prototype 2 is going to be taking place in open world New York City, much like the first game in the series.

“We know our fans have been clamoring to find out when they would be able to get their hands-on PROTOTYPE 2, and the whole studio is excited that we can finally reveal the timing,” commented Radical’s Ken Rosman.

Prototype 2 will also be shown off this week at Comic Con.
