New Gundam Anime and Manga Coming

A new official Gundam website has been launched and seems to show the exact date and time for a new, long awaited Gundam series. That’s right, after years of waiting… “What’s that? Gundam releases a new series practically every six months? Oh, well I don’t see what all the hubub’s about.” In any case, the information that is revealed tells us that there will be an announcement on July 2 at 11:59, Japan time, and will be streamed live via the Bandai channel.

In other Gundam news, a new manga adaption has sprung up about the giant robots, inspired by the Gundam 0083 anime, in the August issue of Kadokawa’s Gundam Ace magazine on June 26. Masato Natsumoto will draw the series, and Takashi Imanishi will write it. The first chapter of the manga will have over 40 pages.
