Among the Sleep is one of the more interesting indie first person horror games that I’ve heard of recently. For the most part they’ve all been about some asshole running away from the current popular creepypasta character. But now you’re playing as a two year old and all the scary stuff is how that child sees the world. It’s really cool, and we’ll be getting a chance to get our hands on it tomorrow.
Krillbite Studio, the developers of the game, are going to be releasing a playable alpha build of the game on May 14th on their Kickstarter page. This isn’t just for backers, though. This playable alpha will be free to download for anyone who visits the page. This alpha will be the first they are going to be running, with the second being backer exclusive later this summer.
Keep in mind that this is an alpha build of the game, so don’t expect it to be perfect or anything. But if you play it and like it, please support the team and contribute to the project. At time of writing the Kickstarter campaign has 4 days left on it and they’ve raised a little over $180,000 of their $200,000 goal, so they have some distance to go. So check out the alpha tomorrow and support the game if you can.
The Among the Sleep alpha will be dropping May 14th at 2PM EDT.
