Four More Characters Coming to the New 52

Another week, another group of upcoming characters courtesy of DC editor-in-chief Bob Harras. So let’s do the rundown.

Our first character is a bit of an oddity in that she has already been introduced. She appeared in issue 8 of The Phantom Stranger which went on sale last week. She is the Nightmare Nurse.

Next is someone from Jason Todd’s past, which has been a bit of a mystery in the New 52 so far. We know bits and pieces and not much else. One piece of his past that will be coming soon is a group of mercs, one of whom is Bronze Tiger. Pre-52 Bronze Tiger was just a dude wearing a tiger head mask, but now it looks like he’s a real tiger person.

Our third character is another one with ties to the League of Assassins (because Bronze Tiger was part of the League of Assassins at one point). She also has some history with Arsenal, a.k.a. Roy Harper. Pre-52, she and Roy had a daughter, Lian. Things ended badly for her, so maybe with her reintroduction things could turn out better. Oh, also I’m talking about Cheshire.

Finally, a new villain for Catwoman has entered the fold. He is a long-time villain of Batman, and now he’ll be taking swing at Gotham’s other “hero.” He is Dr. Phosphorous.
