Masami Yuki Launches New Manga

The creator of Mobile Police Patlabor, Masami Yuki, has launched a new original manga series in the June issue of Shogakugan’s Monthly Spirits magazine. The manga in question, titled Disu x Komi, will be Yuki’s first original series in 10 years; his previous works in that time have been related to pre-existing franchises (ie. Birdy the Mighty).

Disu x Komi is a comedy that follows an aspiring manga artist and her brother. It begins with her winning the Rookie of the Year award, and despite this, she still seems quite sullen.
