Because of Crimson Peak, director Guillermo del Toro’s next film, I have to wait even longer for the Justice League Dark movie. I mean sure, the movie is reported to be an old-school, set-piece themed haunted house movie with a director who has a clear love for that type of horror with a pretty decent cast but… Wait, what was I pissed off about again?
Variety is reporting that two new cast members have been added to Legendary Pictures’ and del Toro’s haunted house movie: Benedict Cumberbatch and Jessica Chastain. At this point we still don’t know anything about the plot aside from ghosts, so we have no idea who these actors will be playing. They’ll be joining Emma Stone and Charlie Hunnam.
Honestly, I am really looking forward to this movie. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a modern horror movie that wasn’t a remake or retarded, so it will be nice to see something scary and awesome. I’m being a bit optimistic here, but a guy can dream, dammit.
