High School DxD Getting a 2nd Season

The second season of the ecchi supernatural rom/com anime has been confirmed, and titled High School DxD New. Along with the announcement comes some additions to the cast of the show as well:  Risa Taneda (From the New World’s Saki, Oreshura’s Kaoru, Say, “I Love You”.’s Asami) will play Zenobia, Maaya Uchida (Yuruyuri’s Mari, Vividred Operation’s Rei) will play Irina Shidō, and Haruka Yamazaki (Hayate the Combat Butler’s Ruka, Vividred Operation’s Mizuha) will play Aika Kiriyū.

The show follows the misadventures of lecherous dimwit Issei Hyodo as he goes through life as one of his type might, but is then killed during his first date ever, by his date no less. He’s brought back to life as a devil and as a henchperson for the most beautiful girl in the school, who happens to be a high ranking devil herself.
