Payday 2 Coming this Summer

Back in 2011, Overkill and SOE released PAYDAY: The Heist. I didn’t like it very much. But apparently I’m in the minority. The game did well critically, and now it’s getting a sequel.

CVG is reporting that the follow-up to Overkill’s co-op heist game is set for release sometime this summer. Since the first game was published by SOE, it was only released on PC and PS3. But, Overkill has since been purchased by Starbreeze and they’ve changed publishers for the sequel. 505 Games will be publishing and will be bringing the game to the 360, as well.

I’m more or less indifferent to this game. I wasn’t a fan of the first one and maybe if I got some friends together I could enjoy this sequel but I don’t see that happening.
