I saw a video of the Leap Motion controller some time ago and it looked pretty awesome. It’s a pad thing that you plug into your PC or Mac and it tracks your hand and finger movements to 1/100th of a millimeter. It looks pretty cool, and now one of my favorite devs is making a game for it.
Double Fine, makers of Psychonauts and Brutal Legend (shut up, I like it), have announced they are working on a game for the yet-to-be released motion controller. Called Dropchord, the game is described as a “music-driven score challenge game.” The game will debut on Leap’s app store, Airspace, but an iOS version is planned.
The game’s official website says the game is playable at SXSW and will also be playable at PAX East later this month.
