Just a week after the announcement that James Marsden will be one of Ron Burgundy’s (presumably) many adversaries, it’s been announced that Han Solo will be stopping by the newsroom before he heads off to the galaxy far, far away.
THR is reporting that Harrison Ford has signed on to star in Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Ford will be playing a legendary newscaster. Think Tom Brokaw as brought to you by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay.
Since all of the plot details for the film are being kept under tight wraps, we don’t know how Ford’s character will come into play. I’m thinking he might be the reporter that got Ron interested in being a newsman in the first place, but that’s just me.
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is set for release on December 20th, 2013.
