Fairy Tail Anime Television Run to End on March 30

Kodansha’s TV Magazine confirmed on Friday that Fairy Tail’s television anime sun would be coming to an end on March 30. The anime, adapted from the manga by Hiro Mashima, has been on the air since October 2009 and the spot in the schedule will be filled with the upcoming Driland anime on April 6. All is not despair however, as Mashima took to Twitter on Saturday with news of upcoming good news…

Until the time comes, I cannot say something I’ve always wanted to say, even on Twitter. Please be patient and wait until the time comes for me to announce some good news.

What this good news is would be anyone’s guess, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
