Another “Major Character” Coming to The Walking Dead

There’s a lot to look forward to with the mid-season premier of The Walking Dead. We’re going to see confrontation between Rick and the Governor. We get answers to the cliffhanger with Merl and Daryl. We’ll get to see some character development with Tyreese. Some more promises were recently made for season 3.

First off, we will see some background development for Daryl and Michonne. This seems pretty crucial as Daryl’s past will be playing a major role  in the coming conflict. Michonne needs this development just as badly so that she gets some more established personality and motivation (I hate unmotivated characters).

We’ve also been promised some changes in faces in the group in the form of people dying (yes, the bodies will start dropping) and the introduction of a new major character from the comics. There is no word on who this character may be, but people are theorizing (DeadMan and myself think Abraham is a likely pick).
