Baird is nobody’s favorite character. So it was a strange choice when Epic announced that he would be the star of Gears of War: Judgement. To make amends for this, Epic has announced Judgement will come with a free code for the original Gears of War.
A download token for the original game, which is currently on Games on Demand for $20, will be included inside all launch copies of Judgement.
Epic decided to include the original game with Judgement for other, non-Baird related reasons. According to some research Epic did, over half of the people who played Gears of War 3 had never played Gears 1.
Gears of War: Judgement is due out on March 19th, 2013, for the Xbox 360.
