Apokolips Now! Does Warner Bros.’ Justice League Have Its Inspiration?

Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer used Year One, The Long Halloween, and Knightfall for their Dark Knight Trilogy.

Zack Snyder and Goyer are rumoured to be using Birthright and Secret Origin for their take on Superman.

Now, Latino Review is reporting that Warner Bros’ director-less Justice League project will be inspired by issues 183-185 of the Justice League comic. A three issue arc that involved the villain Darkseid planning the destruction of Earth by blasting it with a ray that’ll move Apokolips into Earth’s place.

While there’s been no comment by the studio or the screenwriter attached the the project, Will Beall, confirming or denying the report.

Justice League is expected to hit theatres 2015.
