DeadOriginally announced last year at Tokyo Game Show, Asura’s Wrath is an upcoming action title being published by Capcom and developed by CyberConnect2. Their claims to fame are the .hack and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja games.
The story follows Asura, a once powerful deity, as he seeks vengeance on his fellow gods for tripping him of his powers. How does he try to get his vengeance? By getting super pissed off and killing everything in his path. Sound familiar?
The way Asura’s Wrath attempts to separate itself from other games in this genre is through interactive cutscenes. During the game’s cinematics players still have full control of Asura. How does this work? Fucked if I know. There is no word o a release date, but Asura’s Wrath will be coming to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
