Splash Damage Announces Dirty Bomb

Last week Splash Damage posted a teaser image on their site, saying they would be announcing something on “11.29 11:29.” When we reached that day and time, Splash Damage revealed Dirty Bomb, their newest online-only FPS.

The game is being published by Warchest, a new company that publishes free digital games. The Dirty Bomb site urges all visitors to reserve their usernames for the game, which leads them to Warchest. The online part of the game, however, will be handled by FireTeam, another new company that specializes in matchmaking, transmedia connectivity, and many mother online services.

Below is the launch trailer for the game, which will be coming to PC at some point. We don’t have a release date or any pricing info, yet.
