Len Wein and Steve Rude Cash in With Dollar Bill

If eight Before Watchmen miniseries’ wasn’t enough for you, DC Comics is adding one more! Everyone’s favourite Minuteman: Dollar Bill!

Dollar Bill, the man who got his cape stuck in a revolving door and shot to death, will be getting a one-shot issue written by Ozymandias scribe Len Wein and art by Steve Rude.

The issue will allegedly explore how Dollar Bill wanted to be a mascot but ended up becoming a caped crusader instead.

During an interview with MTV Geek, Wein said “The difference between [Bill] and the rest of the characters is that he kind of accepts his lot in life […] He just copes,” Wein says of the character. “He’s one of those guys who just gets by, he does what he needs to do.”

Dollar Bill is to hit shelves January 30th, 2013.
