Crysis 3 is going to be coming out next February and pre-orders are up now. But I’m guessing there are people out there like me who couldn’t give two shits about pre-orders. Why would you pre-order? The stores I go to always have the game in stock on launch day so I never really see the point. But now EA is doing something that actually almost sort of makes me think about considering pre-ordering Crysis 3.
First and foremost, all pre-orders of Crysis 3 will come with a download code for the original Crysis. The first game in the series was released on PC in 2007 and was ported over to Xbox 360 and PS3 about a year ago. It currently sells for about $20 on all three platforms. So pre-ordering the threequel will get you another $20 worth of game.
Also, anyone who pre-orders the standard version of the game will be upgraded to the Hunter Edition. The Hunter edition will give players day-access to the bow and arrow and the Hunter Nanosuit Module.
Crysis 3 is set to release in February 2013.
