The Walt Disney Co. has just acquired LucasFilm and to celebrate they have announced a new Star Wars sequel.
Not much is known about the project at this time, but Star Wars: Episode 7 (A New New Hope?!) is set for a release on 2015 with LucasFilm’s Kathleen Kennedy serving as executive producer and George “The Prequel” Lucas serving as a creative consultant.
Episode 7 is also planned to be setting up a new trilogy that will “continue the Star Wars saga and grow the franchise well into the future.”
With Avengers 2, Justice League, and now Star Wars 7, 2015 is looking to be a big year.
