Black Dynamite Sequel Will Probably be a Western

I first saw Black Dynamite while channel surfing. Back when I still watched stuff on TV I was flipping through channels and stumbled across it. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. And over the summer we learned that we would be getting two more movies, but not exactly sequels. They would have the same cast and everything, but they would be playing different characters and the movies would even be different genres. This week we learned what one of those genres will probably be.

At the red carpet premiere for Alex Cross, CraveOnline got to talk to Michael Jai White, the star and co-writer of Black Dynamite, about the next film in trilogy. White said that after some discussion it looks like the next movie is going to be a western.

“We had discussed, and it looks like we’re getting closer to the decision of something that would be an homage to Blazing Saddles.”

He went on to say that it would be like a mix of Blazing Saddles and Buck and the Preacher.
