As comic book writer Mark Millar works on the set of the follow-up to Kick-Ass, 20th Century Fox made an announcement that Millar will be working as a creative consultant for the studio’s Marvel comic book franchises.
Mark Millar who worked for Marvel for many years and is now working on creator owned properties as he sells any idea he has to any film studio who will buy it.
In response to his new gig for Fox Millar stated, “As someone who has spent his entire life obsessed with both comic-books and movies, this is essentially my dream gig as it’s a unique combination of both,”
Upcoming for 20th Century Fox in the comics world is The Wolverine, directed by James Mangold (Knight and Day), X-Men: Days of Future Past, directed by Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class), and the reboot of Fantastic Four directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle). The studio is also developing Millar’s own Nemesis.
