Former SNL Cast Member to Write Looney Tunes Reboot

The Looney Tunes are awesome. I’m glad we all agree on that. But here’s the thing, people: While we may not be getting new Looney Tunes stuff, the old stuff hasn’t gone anywhere. It’s not getting any worse, either. So why do people keep insist on rebooting them, and why do they keep putting them in movies with real people? First there was Space Jam and then there was Looney Tunes: Back in Action and now we’re getting this sure to be monstrosity.

Warner Bros. has tapped Jenny Slate to pen the script for live action/CG reboot of the classic series. Slate was on the 2009-2010 season of SNL and had a recurring character by the name of Tina-Tina Chaneuse. I don’t really watching SNL so I don’t know if she’s funny or not, but let’s go back to something. A live action/CG reboot of the Looney Tunes….. WHAT!?

This movie’s going to be fucking terrible.
