Atlantis Attacks the Justice League this December

This December, in the pages of Justice League, writer Geoff Johns will set the armies of Atlantis against the world’s finest team of heroes in the five-issue arc Throne of Atlantis starting at issue 15.

This with the new relationship between Superman and Wonder Woman, new members to the team, Shazam and the Atom, and a rivalry between Batman and Aquaman is all apart of the second year of DC Comics and Justice League leading up to the major Trinity War event.

“It’s all about progressing the team and the members and the reality and the perception of what the Justice League is in the DC Universe,” Johns says. “There’s an inciting incident that triggers some tensions” between the heroes, Johns continues, “but really it’s about taking a hard look at what the power of Atlantis is.”

The Throne of Atlantis starts this December in the pages of Justice Leauge with writer Geoff Johns and artist Ivan Reis.
