Ladies and gents, it’s time to head back into the Metro. This time around however, it’ll be in the silver screen. Hollywood Reporter… well, reports, that Metro 2033 will be getting the big screen treatment. Based not on the game, but the original book by Dmitry Glukhovsky, the film will give us another chance to explore the post-apocalyptic Russian world. With only one film currently under his belt, F. Scott Frazier will be writing the movie’s script with Mark Johnson, known for producing films such as the Narnia series, Toys, and the show Breaking Bad, producing the movie. Being a huge fan of the Metro series/universe, hearing a movie is in the works, is great news. I’ve got some faith that the new comer writer’ll do good by the series. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see now, won’t we?
