Hot off the movie about an Alaskan serial killer, everyone’s favorite crazy person and kinda bad actor Nicolas Cage has signed on to star in I Am Wrath, a movie about a kinda crazy guy.
The film, which is being directed by William Friedkin, is about a man named Stanley. He has a decent life with his wife. That is, until she is murdered! Over the course of the investigation, Stanley realizes the cops can’t do jackshit and that a lot of them are corrupt. So now he’s had enough. Filled with anger and thirst for justice, Stanley takes to the streets to serve up some vigilante justice and “destroy those who abuse their power.”
It sounds kind of stupid, but I can dig it. If I get to see Nic Cage go crazy and beat some people to death or shoot them or something, I’m happy. Let’s hope we actually get to see crazy Nic Cage in this movie, though, and not the controlled and boring Nic Cage or the “How’d it get burned?” Nic Cage. Nobody wants to see them.
