xxxHOLiC getting live action drama? This can only end well.

The title speaks the truth, the major Clamp hit xxxHOLiC, has received funding from WOWOW to create a live action drama of the show, set to air in 2013. This new series will mark the first live action TV adaptation of a Clamp property, with Keisuke Toyoshima (Softboy) sitting in the director’s chair. Little else is available at the moment, other than Shouta Sometani and An Watanabe being in the star roles.

What do you guys think? Are you fans of the show? Will this be a trainwreck? I ask these questions because I don’t know. Perhaps we can paint a clearer picture as we approach the new year and more information becomes available.
