Dawnguard, the Skyrim DLC that was released for Xbox 360 in June (check out my review), and for PC in August, may not be released on PS3. According to Bethesda representatives there are some issues with the content on PS3 that, so far, they aren’t able to solve, and may not ever be able to.
“Dawnguard is obviously not the only DLC we’ve been working on either, so the issues of adding content get even more complicated. This is not a problem we’re positive we can solve, but we are working together with Sony to try to bring you this content”
This inability to release the content on PS3 has cast some doubts on whether any further content will encounter similar problems. PS3 users may just have to accept the fact that they will only get the original game content for Skyrim.
