A recent update for Portal 2 has expanded Aperture’s Perpetual Testing Initiative. Now players will be able to create their own co-op levels for Atlas and P-body to science their way through.
Since being released in May, the Portal 2 community has made over 170,000 custom levels, and with this new update we can expect at least another 170,000.
Along with the new co-op levels, a Quick Play option has been implemented in the game. Players will now be able to jump right into a top-rated map across a bunch of different categories. What those categories are I have no idea.
Finally, anyone who owns a copy of Portal 2 got a 75% off coupon for the game to give to a friend who doesn’t have the game. Admittedly the number of people who don’t own Portal 2 is probably pretty small but I bet you could find someone.
