A few months back, the Baldur’s Gate website had a countdown going which ended with the reveal that an updated re-release of the first two Baldur’s Gate games would be coming out. The people behind the new games must really like timers, because there is now another one.
On the site, three lines accompany the timer:
“What is Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition?
When can I get it?
What does it cost?”
The first question we already have the answer to. But the other two questions are a release date and a price point. Those two pieces of information don’t really need a countdown timer to reveal, now matter what game that timer is attached to.
It looks like the timer will run out at 3 PM EST on July 26th, assuming I mathed correctly. I guess I’ll just sit here in rapt attention, watching every second melt away, inching ever closing to knowing details I probably already know about the game and learning when I can get my grubby little hands on it and how much of my money I need to through at someone to get it.
