Two New Cast Members Added to Days of Future Past

Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past has thrown another two mutants into the fray: One a returning member of the team and the other, a newcomer.

I have not seen The Intouchables or anything else Sy has been in so I have no opinion on his acting. For a while, people weren’t entirely sure who he was going to playing. But, with the second new cast announcement, everyone’s fairly certain that Sy will be playing Bishop, one of the main time-travelling mutants from the Marvel Universe.

That second person, the returning cast member, is Halle Berry who will be reprising her role as Storm. She confirmed this in an interview with Jamaal Finkley from BlackTreeTV.

The reason this announcement makes everybody believe Sy will be Bishop is that in the comics Bishop joins Storm’s splinter X-Men team, the X-Treme X-Men. Because 90’s. Hopefully this means Storm will have her sick mohawk.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is set for release on July 18th, 2014
